How feasible is it to get out?
lifein this post i will be cataloguing the feasibility of immigrating to a few target countries.
refer to life in... for the day to day after you've made it out (incl. work culture.)

how long you have to wait depends a bit on your luck, but I would say around a year is reasonable
So Stockholm is one of the hardest cities to find an apartment to rent. The line to rent "in first hand" is between 7-10 years depending on where you want to live.
https://old.reddit.com/r/stockholm/comments/m9ye94/tips_to_find_an_apartment_in_stockholm_new_expat/
Honestly. You're fucked and your company is extremely irresponsible. I would not expect anyone to be able to get an apartment here in a month.
So literally the only situation in which someone wants to engage in this 2nd hand renting business, is e.g. you rent this house, your parents live elsewhere, you're going abroad for postgrad or work or whatever, and you want someone to pay the maintenance fees.
https://orimlighyra.se/en/rent-refund-in-sweden/
96% of tenants are paying way too much rent for their second-hand rentals.
Due to the housing crisis in Sweden, tenants are forced to lease apartments for an illegally high fee. That's money that goes straight into landlord's pockets.
According to Swedish Law, leasing out apartments to excess rent is illegal.

International students write one-liners because anywhere but Germany you can just get a flat as long as you have the income + are clean and calm. None of this 1h interview bullshit about what kind of food you like to eat on fridays.
In Germany getting a WG is literally harder than a job interview.
indian nationals are flocking to germany: https://germanyiscalling.com/software-developer-job-in-germany-within-6-months/

What does keine Zweck-WG mean? It implies that the person who's the primary tenant (or group of already present people in the flat) is not only after someone to split the cost, but also expects more social interaction, e.g. shared cooking, dining, ...
I am a Senior Software Engineer (6 years of experience) at a big tech company in US. I have my bachelors and masters in Computer Science. I have to leave the US due to visa issues. I got the offer from a company in Germany, they are offering 45k Euro for Stuttgart area.
It is really low for the Stuttgart area. If you were an average (not great) new grad from a local university, I would say 'don't accept anything below 50k'.
45k is veeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrry low. I think they just want to pay the bare minimum that can get you a EU blue card.

Companies are able to pay us a bit higher because they don’t have to pay us CPF, that’s the idea. But the discrepancy between foreign and local PMETs is not that big.

word is that canada's job market values people with NA work experience much more highly. entry level is a shitshow.

円安ニッポンから海外出稼ぎ 寿司職人、美容師などは引く手あまた 「金額目当てだけでは痛い目に遭う」と識者|TBS NEWS DIG

anecdotally, i have seen 2 cases of foreigners who landed "meme" jobs like ”游戏测评工程师” at NetEase with at least a tangentially related background and without extraordinary technical skills (but with fluent chinese and already having been invested in the mainland chinese ecosystem).
